L'\u00e9paississeur NG est une sorte d'\u00e9paississeur \u00e0 traction p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique de type rouleau. Les \u00e9paississeurs \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle adoptent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement ce type de traction p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique. En cas de d\u00e9rapage du rouleau en raison d'une surcharge, aucun dispositif de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cial n'est n\u00e9cessaire. Sa cuve est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en b\u00e9ton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour charger le moteur, des n\u0153uds annulaires sont dispos\u00e9s sur le support central. Les articulations de collecte de courant avec anneau coulissant sont reli\u00e9es \u00e0 l'armature, et le courant est introduit dans le moteur \u00e0 travers ces articulations par le c\u00e2ble pos\u00e9 sur l'armature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.2.1 La force de frottement du rouleau de roulement \u00e9tant faible, le rouleau de roulement est susceptible de d\u00e9raper en cas de givre sur la voie ou de surcharge. Par cons\u00e9quent, il n'est pas adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 une utilisation dans des zones froides avec un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de givrage, ou dans la pulpe de minerai en grande quantit\u00e9 ou \u00e0 forte concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
